Delivery:
1. When can I expect my order
to be despatched?
We operate a same day despatch
policy for any order placed by 3PM on a
working week day. Any order placed after
3PM on a working week day, or at any time
on a weekend day or bank holiday, will be
held over until the next working week day
and despatched then. You will be sent a
despatch confirmation e-mail at the end
of the despatch day, shortly after goods
have been despatched. This e-mail will give
details of how to track delivery progress.
2. How long after despatch
can I expect delivery to go ahead?
Our courier will deliver on
the next working week day following despatch.
For example if despatch is Monday delivery
will be Tuesday and if despatch is Friday
delivery will be Monday (unless the Monday
is a bank holiday, then delivery will be
Tuesday.)
3. Does someone have to be
available to sign for goods on delivery?
Yes, the driver will be instructed
not to leave goods ‘safe’ but
to obtain a signature at the delivery address
when goods are handed over.
4. What happens if I miss
delivery attempts?
Our courier will carry out
two delivery attempts. If you miss the first
attempt, scheduled for the first working
week day following despatch, please contact
the courier (quoting the tracking number
uploaded against your order immediately
after despatch.) They can discuss when the
final delivery attempt can go ahead and
the option of collection from your local
depot. If you miss both delivery attempts
collection from your local depot will be
necessary in order to avoid the courier
auto-returning your order to sender.
5. What should I do if neither
goods nor calling card arrive on the expected
delivery date?
The driver should leave a
calling card if a delivery attempt goes
ahead with no-one available to sign for
goods. However, occasionally a driver is
without cards, so it is always best to refer
to the tracking system which will detail
any logged attempt that has gone ahead.
If an attempt is logged that you wish to
dispute, or if no attempt is logged for
the expected delivery date, the courier
can look into the delivery progress and
give you an update/reason for the delay.
6. What is an auto-return?
Our courier will warehouse
goods for five working week days from the
date of the first delivery attempt. After
that time, if goods could not be signed
for on delivery and were not collected by
you the customer from your local depot,
the courier will auto-return goods to sender.
Auto-return unfortunately carries an extra
cost not covered by the outward p&p
shipment.
7. What should I do if I am
having problems with the courier?
The courier staff should always
be very courteous and helpful, but please
do not hesitate to contact 3wisemonkeys
in the rare event that this is not the case.
3wisemonkeys staff are always happy to help
and can contact the courier on your behalf
to make an enquiry about your delivery if
needs be.
