The August DA701C is the newest version of the popular August DA701B. The DA701C
features an integrated rechargeable battery so that you can use the TV when
you are out and about but also comes with car power adapter and mains adapter.
What this means is that the August DA701C makes a great hand held portable TV
and media player for holidays or travel but also ideal for use as a kitchen
TV, in a bedroom, caravan or boat. With an output socket too the DA701C can
plug directly in to your standard larger screen home TV for use as a digital
set top box and digital media player.
The DA701C has a built in memory card reader supporting SD, MMC and MS memory
cards as well as a USB port so that you can view photos, movies and music from
memory card or USB thumb drive. The DA701C supports MP3 audio, WMA audio. MPEG4
video, AVI video and JPEG photos via memory card or USB.
The DA701C comes with a host of accessories such as table top stand which can
also be used for mounting the TV on the underside of kitchen cupboards so that
it hangs down from your kitchen cupboard, a full function remote control, audio
/ video cable and external antenna aerial.
The DA701C also has a standard aerial socket so that it can be plugged in to
any standard house or external booster aerial for improved reception.
