The new Nextbase SDV685AC is one of the very latest dual portable DVD player
from Nextbase. The SDV685AC, as with all the Nextbase portable DVD players,
is backed with a 2 year warranty and is a great looking portable DVD player
with a sleek black Softouch rubber outer finish, rounded corners and sleek lines.
With no buttons featured on the front of the player the SDV685AC is sleek and
clean in it's matt black softouch coating and curved edges. Control buttons
are located on the top edge of the player. A full function remote control is
also included with each player. The SDV685AC consists of two Nextbase SDV685
players that can be plugged in together using the supplied cable for a dual
screen system to play the same movie or each player can be used independently.
Also included is an interconnect cable so that the two screens
can be connected for playing the same movie and also allows the 2 players to
be powered from a single car cigarette lighter socket.
A high resolution 8.5 inch screen gives the SDV685AC superb high quality video
playback... whether it be standard DVDs or DivX movies. It also supports MPEG4,
VCD and SVCD discs so you can play pretty much every standard video file as
well as being multiregion out of the box meaning it can play DVD discs purchased
any where worldwide. With integrated stereo surround sound the audio from the
Nextbase SDV685AC also doesn't fail to impress. AntiSkip technology is also
incorporated to ensure that there is no interruption in the viewing pleasure
from this portable DVD player.
Every SDV685AC features an inbuilt Infra Red transmitter making it easy to
add wireless headphones to this player. With Infra Red audio you can add as
many sets of wireless headphones to the SDV685AC as required too so sharing
a screen is easy... with no headphones wires to get tangled.
The SDV685AC is the ideal solution for in car use as an in-car kit is supplied
with each player which includes headrest mounting and a 12V car cigarette lighter
power cable.
An integrated USB port on the side of the Nextbase SDV685AC means you can plug
in your USB thumb drive or similar USB device for playback of MP3, JPEG, WMA
and MPEG4 / DivX movies so no need to transfer your files from PC on to CD or
DVD disc.
Audio and video input means that you can use this player with another SDV685AC
or similar portable DVD player to create a dual screen system. Alternatively
you can team the Nextbase SDV685AC with one of our game pads below to turn it
in to a portable games system to get a few extra hours use out of it... ideal
for those extra long car journeys.
When
using the SDV685AC it can easily be sat on a flat surface using either the built
in rear picture frame style kick stand or by folding out the rear section of
the player for increased stability, much like a clamshell style portable DVD
player with the screen reversed.
