Denver WCT-5003 wildlife camera, motion activated with IR night vision and remote control

Availability: In stock

£71.99 +P&P

The Denver WCT-5003 digital trail wildlife camera is a surveillance camera that works automatically via motion detection (up to 25 meter detection distance). It can be triggered by any movement in a certain Region Of Interest (ROI) monitored by a sensitive Passive Infrared (PIR) motion sensor. On detection of movement it then automatically captures high quality pictures (up to 12M pixels) or records up to 1080p HD video.

From sunrise the unit takes colour photos and video until there is insufficient light (dusk) when it automatically switches over to its infra-red night vision using 36 LEDs to ensure you still get great shots or video even at night with little to no light.

It is easy to use with a 2 inch colour LCD display on the camera. Its water and snow resistant for outside use too with an IP54 rating.

The camera takes 4 or 8 * AA sized batteries to power itself and these can last up to 6 months if the camera stays in standby. The camera has an SD card slot and this can take up to 32GB memory card for photo and video storage.

On motion detection you can set the camera to record just video or take still photos or take both photos & video. When taking photos you can set the camera to take a burst of photos of up to 9 shots too.

It's possible to set a delay on the PIR motion detector so that once it has detected movement it is no longer active for a specified period to ensure that it isn't permanently being set off by a single animal pr person. With a built in timer too it means you can set the camera to only be active during a certain period of the day as well.

Password protection means only you can access your camera.

The camera worked well from the first night. Resolution in infrared is surprisingly good. Having now used the camera for a couple of weeks, the fact that you can't use the remote to turn on the camera after it is in position is a missed opportunity. However, the results are good for the money and I am pleased with the purchase. (Posted on 28/11/2015)

For on problem filming Hedgehogs and night feeding, instructions are not very clear but once they are mastered the unit is good.

It does the job for my amateur wildlife enthusiast. (Posted on 23/07/2015)

I have several wildlife cameras keeping an eye on our garden. I bought this camera from 3wisemonkeys 2 weeks ago and have used it in several positions at different settings and am more than pleased with the results. I only use the video setting and am very pleased with the quality especially at night. On the whole I am very happy with the Denver but would suggest the 'on' / 'off' switch is a little flimsy. I had 2 cameras with similar type switches and both broke in a reasonably short time. Also, if the remote goes you cannot make changes manually. A good camera for the money and may consider another one. Great service from 3wisemonkeys!! (Posted on 27/04/2015)

Recently bought a great wildlife camera from 3wisemonkeys!
It has all the features you would want for a very reasonable price.
Through a mistake of my own I ended up ordering 4 items in 2 batches but thanks to the great service of Amy and others it was all shipped in one and they gave me a refund for the double carriage costs.
A big thanks to 3WiseMonkeys! (Posted on 27/01/2015)
